I’m a TEFL certified native English speaker with 5 years teaching experience. I’m an ESL instructor versed in using effective and efficient methods of teaching while focusing on the individual needs of each student.

I am originally from New York. I have been working at the Academy for 4 years. I attended university at Western Michigan University, Johns Hopkins University, and King’s College London. Lived and worked in Washington, D.C. for many years.

I was born and raised in San Diego. I went to school in San Diego State College and San Luis Obispo Cuesta college for business and accounting. Both are fantastic schools with the mottos, ‘learn by doing’.

I was born and raised in Chicago. I graduated DePaul University and moved to Warsaw one year ago. I have been teaching English in the States and Poland for 4 years, and it has become one of my greatest passions.

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. I received my Master’s in Music Performance and have been living in Warsaw for one year now teaching both English and piano.

I consider my home to be Pennsylvania and then Texas where I lived for over a decade before coming to Poland. Education is my passion and I have earned Master’s Degrees in ESL teaching, business and counseling.

I’m a native Brooklynite, a lifelong teaching and language enthusiast. I studied Latin and Spanish, and later received my BA from Wesleyan University. I aim to create a fun, dynamic, and welcoming environment where students aren’t afraid to be challenged according to their personalized needs.

I’m from New Jersey and I went to The University of Vermont because I could snowboard basically from November to May. When I graduated I began working as a teacher and really enjoyed it. I moved to Poland 5 years ago.

My name’s Ian and I’m a Hoosier – a native of the state of Indiana, USA. I’ve worked for Academy of New York since receiving my CELTA certificate here in Warsaw nearly 3 years ago and… I love the music of Dawid Podsiadło.

I have spent my adult life between New York City, Miami and Europe. I served in the United States Navy and have earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Art History and a Master’s of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
